OHRA Picnic on 27 August

One of the many positive outcomes from the Old Hatfield Charrette, in 2008, was the formation of two residents groups: the Old Hatfield Community Forum and the Old Hatfield Residents Association. These two organisations consolidated into a single body during 2015.

On Saturday 27 August the Old Hatfield Summer Picnic returns. Run by the Old Hatfield Residents’ Association, this is now a fixture of our local summers. This year The Eight Bells pub is hosting a BBQ and beer tent in Salisbury Square.

Whole families are welcome – the OHRA are hosting a Kids Blooming Old Hatfield colouring competition alongside a variety of family games from pad boxing and pillow fighting to tag wrestling and tug of war.

Come enter a photograph into the “Best Old Hatfield photo” competition.

There will be stalls from local businesses and much more, all to a soundtrack of local music throughout the day!

Bold men and women are invited to the Open Mic.
