Fulfilling Work + Attractive Workspaces – Herts. Infrastructure Charrette Continues

Summer 2018. Gascoyne Cecil Estates, the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce and the Royal Veterinary College hosted a fourth event in the Hertfordshire Infrastructure Charrette Series. Following on from the Spring event on An Integrated Transport Network, this event focused on Fulfilling Work & Attractive Workspaces.

Hosted at the Royal Veterinary College, the event looked to explore several questions:

  • how artificial intelligence and technology might change the kinds of work we will do in the coming years
  • what an attractive productive workspace looks like

With an introduction from Lord Salisbury, and a welcome to the RVC from David Church (Vice-Principal), presenters included:

David Danson, RVC Council Member

Dr Kate Byford, University of Hertfordshire

Ka Ng, Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council

Jeanette Walker, Cambridge Science Park

Uwe Schmidt-Hess, Patalab Architects

A paper from this event will be published here soon.
